Just recently, I learned that there are a group of people who deny that Neil Armstrong (or for that matter anyone else) ever walked on the moon. In fact, they say that we have never even landed on the moon! This is a very intriguing belief as it is not widely held.

I believe we’d be way better off without religions or mysticism of any kind. I take responsibility for my life and for deciding what is right or wrong in my life and that is completely devoid of any religious influence. Just because I think that murder and dishonesty are wrong for me, and major religions kind of teach that (but fail miserably in their actions), that doesn’t mean my morals stem from any religion or made-up god.

Standing in line at the Post Office here in Gulfport, Mississippi became a bewildering moment that will not exit my head. In this moment, I was subjected to a stupidity that will go unmatched for a very long time. It was stupidity that you would only read about and have to shake your head and read again. To have it said to you is another level of amazement that cannot be described.

Someone started a thread in the imdb.com message boards titled: Thank God I’m NOT An Atheist. Naturally, this irked me. I felt it to be well within my rights to respond, but I was tired and instead wanted to poke a jab at the thread-starter. Then, some mental midget decided to try to ’school’ me and another Atheist - with an argument that was incredibly stupid.
